Anti Sang ( Self Help Group) Campaign
In Islam, the prohibition of Riba is clear and unambiguous. The Quran highlights its exploitative nature, warns of its harmful consequences, and encourages financial practices that promote fairness, equity, and justice. Muslims are encouraged to seek interest-free alternatives, such as profit-sharing agreements, joint ventures, and charitable giving, in order to ensure that financial dealings benefit society and are in line with Islamic principles.
As the Quran says:
“O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of Riba if you are believers.” (Quran 2:278)
The call is clear: to avoid Riba, seek halal (lawful) means of economic activity, and prioritize fairness, justice, and the well-being of others in all financial dealings.
The Anti Sang (Self Help Group) campaign aims to educate communities about the potential harms of high-interest lending practices and the importance of ethical financial systems.
